3WhyFX Spin Delay

最近買了一個新玩具是 3Why FX的Spin Delay， 這是之前寫的心得以及個人使用的小手法，供大家參考。 這顆簡單來說就是Spin鈕採下去後， 會有像是repeats鈕開到滿的無限feedback， 但是有針對音量做控制，讓音量不會越來越大到爆炸。 非常實用的效果，非常喜歡這種根據表演實用性而做的設計！ 他們的效果器外觀和Logo似乎受到了街頭塗鴉的影響， 繽紛帶有一點砂礫的感覺，個人非常喜歡！ 最後附上自己錄的Spin Delay demo供大家參考： https://soundcloud.com/ofender-mao/3whyfx-spin-delay-test

(Ofender's sharing of how he uses the Spin Delay. English below the Chinese) 如果你剛好沒看到Ofender Mao分享的心得： 1. Spin 鈕開著雖然讓repeat鈕失效， 但實際上可以控制在spin mode關掉的那一瞬間tail的長度， 不會突然斷掉！在某些氣氛的收尾可以用得上！ 2. 先讓Spin delay發出infinite feedback，此時不踩掉spin踏板， 反而先踩on/off，可以製造clean/infinite feedback的直接切換（斷音）， 你可以連續踩on/off，製造有趣的效果， 或是當成一個瞬間進入infinite feedback的功能。 3. Mix鈕可以控制infinite效果的大小，特別的是連續彈奏時， infinite效果不會像只彈奏一個音就停止那樣， 快速上升，反而會稍稍退後（音量下降，本產品的目標）， 這對表演是非常實用的功能， 反而是整個堆起來的吉他的wet/dry聲音， 讓中高頻意外的突出，拿來做solo很不錯！ If you missed Ofender Mao’s sharing of how he uses the Spin Delay, here it is (in English): 1. Repeats knob is set at.Useful for retaining atmosphere while playing. 2. First, let Spin mode go into infinite feedback.Then, instead of stomping

on Spin to turn it off,turn off the pedal using the Bypass footswitch. This creates a instant “clean/infinite feedback” cut.One can use this to

add infinite feedback sound effectquickly and turn it off again quickly. 3. The Mix knob can control the volume of the infinite feedback in the

Spin mode. However, what is special is that the infinite feedback does

not grow into an uncontrollably loud volume.The infinite feedback is

limited in volume and can be set to sit back in a mix. This makes this

mode extremely usable in a performance. In this mode, I also found that high mids get emphasised which is useful for solos!
